I have sold stuff on C/List and concur with the above advice - alternate your phone number as alpha-numeric, ie: 7 zero 9 2 four three 6. That stops the robo-call crap, but there is always the chance that an idiot will drive you nuts anyway. Toughest thing for you will be the circumstance that a prospective buyer will have to come to where the engine is - meeting at Safeway won't be an option, so you give up a little security.

Just protect yourself at all times - physically and financially.
