my grandfather had a '67 GMC K25 that had the 305. ran it till the engine blew in '82, and stuck a 350 in it. didn't have the right bellhousing and it never started right ( extra resistance/ 2 batteries needed ) so he let it set.. 305 is long gone, and the truck made it to the crushers last year, after he gave it to friends of the faimly, who dropped it off to someone to be restored, and he decided it couldn't be in his driveway.. truck was a very restorable truck. small window, SM 420 4x4 and 4.56 gears. solid except rockersYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
