Slightly OT, but related, we just had a problem with two Stewart Warner gauges, but SW stepped up to the plate immediately. Dan bought a set of Wings gauges from Speedway about 2 1/2 years ago, but since the car isn't finished they just sat until a couple weeks ago. When we were installing them we found that the needles had fallen off of the tach and oil pressure gauge.

I called Speedway, who have always been excellent customer service wise, and they told me that SW had a firm 2 year return policy so Speedway couldn't do anything. I called SW in El Paso and got the plant manager, who told me someone would call me right back. They did, and sent us two new gauges at their expense both ways, and all we have to do is put the old ones back in the box and ship them back to them. They apologized and said they were embarrassed that this happened.

Guess whose gauges we will be buying from now on?
