For an inexpensive set-up I prefer Alpine and good used ones come up on Ebay all of the time. As far as speaker location, what kind of vehicle are you talking about?Ken Thomas

If there is a package tray behind the seat that would be my first choice. I would be hesitant to cut up the door panels. BTW, that is a nice looking 29.Ken Thomas
