    Well Ken .... I called & spoke to Eric ....... His thoughts are what I suspected when I decided I wanted a wider rear wheel ..... prognosis ..... NOT GOOD.

    I've welded steel,C/M,/hastelloy & many exotic metals BUT never magnesium. He has. Not onl has he welded it but machined it. So ........ in his humble opinion he said leave the wheels alone. Magnesium has some funky tendencies that I'd rather not try.

    Again - Thanks for the direction.

    I'm on the hunt for new wheels with a little more width.
