big blocks make good torque in stock form it did come out of a motor home??? your not given much to work from as for money you want to spend . some small a mount of head work . and a cam gound for max TQ and good EX .if your looking for more put a 4.250 crank in it and with a 030 over you will have a 489 and them you can go up on heads and$$$$$$Last edited by pat mccarthy; 12-25-2009 at 07:33 PM.
