The post office is cheaper, does offer some tracking on international items and does offer insurance. But the sender has to be willing to go to the post office and deal with it, that is the biggest issue, at least in my town its a PITA to deal with

I really don't understand the problem shipping overseas via the USPS. The only requirement is to fill out a customs form, which is probably needed for any of the other companies. I have have shipped to Australia and Europe with no problems. I got something going to Brazil and I don't expect any problems with USPS.
There is insurance on USPS int'l shipping. But it may be limited. Try www.usps.com.

Yes I ship USPS, but you cant get insurance because it goes off of the declared value of the box. Sorry.
