-A piece of sheet steel large enough to hold the items you wish to hide.
-A piece of "piano hinge" long enough for the above panel.
-Enough extra wire to allow for the swing of above panel.
-Magnetic cabinet "latch" that releases on touch, typical of stereo cabinets.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
