hidden dash

Hi all

Im looking for parts to make a drop down switch panel. ie i dont want all my switches warning lights on show ,i want to press a button and they drop down from under the dash. Ive given up here in UK

Any ideas

I wanted the same clean look in my Galaxie, I custom fabed a center consol and put my switchs in one section my aftermarket radio in the next and all my Doc's go in the third. It looks clean.

-A piece of sheet steel large enough to hold the items you wish to hide.

-A piece of "piano hinge" long enough for the above panel.

-Enough extra wire to allow for the swing of above panel.

-Magnetic cabinet "latch" that releases on touch, typical of stereo cabinets.

-Someone with a little imagination if this is unclear.

I am designing a drop down fusebox using the exact idea Bob suggested. Had not thought of the magnetic cabinet latch, Thanks Bob!
