    if aAN -6 you would use a edelbrock /carter fitting it is 5/8 x20 to -6 then make a insert for the 45 to seat to and your done .if the bung coming out of the header tank if the bung top is flat you would not need to seal up on the 45 you could just use a flat sealing washer like the fitting would use to seal up on the carb body
