Does anybody know where a strip tank is?

I am looking for a strip tank located in the Los Angeles or Riverside area?

I think the state outlawed them some years back; all I ever knew of are closed and gone.

What would be the easiest way to remove large amounts of surface rust?

Hmm! Shows ya' what I know. Last time I looked in on them, they were closed up tighter than "Dick Tracey's" hatband, and looked to be out of business; that was in the mid nineties. They did a bunch of stuff for me back many years ago - '79/'80, and their work was very good.

What size are the parts you are trying to clean up? Or is it a whole car? Do you have any pictures or more detail as to what you are trying to accomplish? There might be other ways to get to bare metal, other than going to a professional.

I am doing the cab, both front fenders, both doors, hood, and front grill. The cab has very little rust but evrything else has rust on the inside.
