does it matter where the shut off valve is located in the line?

one month later and I still haven't gotten a chance to run the lines

quick question...it is acceptable to run hard lines right to the tank right? since the lines and tank are both mounted solid to the frame I would think that would be fine.

I would use as much hard line as possible ,I am having some problems with braided line on my truck that sat for 2 years,broke engine in and ran it a few times ,then it sat 2 years ,fired it back up and braided lines are leaking from the middle of the line......this was quality braided line too.

I replaed it with rubber line ,but plan to install as much hardline as possible now....no more braided stuff for me.

Why do you need a shut off valve for? Ditto on the hard lines, use as much as possible. Try to get the factory rubber at the motor fuel lines for the LT1, they will screw right to your fuel lines and make alot cleaner look. Corvette lines go down the drivers side, Camaro and all others go down pass side.
