A metal line I hope??? I don't like any lines within 5" or 6" of the headers...though sometimes it's unavoidable....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

If you can't run the line elsewhere, wrap it with header wrap or other heat isolation material to prevent percolating of the fuel in the line. I have also installed aluminum heat shields between the exhaust and fuel line with success. Make the shield from two pieces with an air gap between them.
