I have the Sylvania 6024's in my 57 Olds and the lighting is terrific, in fact much better than the tri-bar halogens I have on my 34. I agree with use of relays and upgraded wiring would help too, if not already done.

I have to redo the wiring harness in my 34 this year to hopefully improve everything including the headlights that currently throw a beam about the same distance as a battery powered headlight on a Schwin bike.
