I drove on bias plies half of my life - well, the early half . I don't think they ride as well as modern radials, but I don't see any significant danger in using them. If your front end alignment is correct, and the steering is tight, they'll track just fine. They're made better today than they were back in the day. On that truck, they'll look good.

You'll get pretty strong stances on both sides of your question. If you want them, do it.

I agree with Henry. I drove a '36 5 window coupe all over So. Cal. in the '60's and never had any problems. I'm not a big fan of wide whites, never was, but to each their own.
