I still much prefer the 9" Fords, if for no other reason then changing gears is so much easier. I always have another center section or three on the shelf with different gear ratio's for different occasions. As for the floater axles, I like them on circle burners, dragsters, and farm trucks. Just don't like the looks of the big huge hubs on the street. Are they tougher??? Maybe, depends on how they're set up and what components are used. As with anything, we all have our own preferences and opinions...
