With that kind of horsepressure and torque, I would be going for a 9" Ford with at least 31 spline axles. I hate spending money on parts twice. The investment in a 9" with good parts inside will give you many miles of trouble free performance....
Whereabouts in Houston do you live? I have some family there and go visiting a couple times every year....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I live in Pearland Hwy 35 and FM 518
