Man,from where you are,all the pro's that we watch on tv are less than 1 hr from you. There are literally dozens of car clubs, terrific garage sales almost every weekend. The place is what you make it. Yeah, the locals look at you like you've got two heads when you know something besides what you do for a living. They seem to have to hire someone to do everything for them, including mowing a postage stamp sized lawn. Now,before you cut into that vintage tin,how good of a welder are you?If butt welding two pieces of sheet metal together with minimal warpage is no problem for you, that's more than half the chop job covered already.Check out the threads on here about chopping, books and videos available, make your plan and go for it.
