The fitting for the front on the master cylinder is larger than the rear. The guy at the brake hose shop told me that I should use the smaller line for the front. Something dont sound right to me.

    Thanks Jim
the front fitting on the master cylinder goes to the rear wheels, the back fitting goes to the front. most of the time. need to see the master cylinder. its been a long time sense i put brake lines on a new car, but i think they are the same size.

Thanks Mike. I think I got my answer. I did a search ( duh ) and found a thread that you had also posted on. It went into great detail. What I got is that the front lines can be 3/16" (smaller) . They can be bigger but the smaller would be correct for the fittings on the master.

    You guys are great........... again.
