Matt it's great to look at things differently, no problem there. I'm just saying consider all the aspects of a project, including the resale.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

A 6 cylinder ANYTHING going into an A model is going to create a world of hurt. But like the man says "if ya got a set of torches and a big friggin hammer, ya can make anything fit anything". Best scenario here is to extend the framerails ahead of the firewall by about 8". Don't cut the firewall at all---run a custom "pinnochio style" hood top. If you want to run full fendered, then run the front fenders in the stock position (as dictated by the fit at the front of the frame horns which are now moved out 8",) make up a set of longer running boards, and add a peice to the splash aprons above the running boards.Old guy hot rodder
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
