Thank you for your reply in regards to helping me fix my 62 galaxie. I did just what you said, i went threw all the vacuum hoses and the problem was that the gas pedal linkage was rubbing on the underside of the hose that goes from the intake to the power booster. Who knows how long it was like that, but it finally wore threw. The hose was so brittle that it was hard as a rock. I put a new hose and once again it runs like new. Thank you again... Paul..
