One other thing is that air shocks are not really made to give you any substantial lift, like some people use them. They are made to simply give you extra load carrying capacity, and maybe add a little height to the rear. But I see guys using them to really jack up the rear or even worse, as the only rear supports on cars like T buckets (in place of coilovers)

The problem is that they can blow out if overextended or sometimes the threaded mounting studs will break off, and suddenly drop the car. If you have to jack the car up that far to get the tires under it, you have the wrong tires/wheels.
