Steering Stops
Anyone running steering stops on a round tube aftermarket axle? Allof the I beams have a steering stop by the kingpin BUT The tube axles only have a little 1/4" set screw to hold the busing in the kingpin, No stop??

Depends on your tube axle, I guess. I've never seen one without the provision for a stop. However, some of the T-bucket manufacturers have their own ideas about a front axle, and don't copy the pure Ford design.Last edited by Henry Rifle; 10-28-2006 at 02:37 PM.

Like I said, some T-bucket makers do their own thing. Most other folks copy the standard Ford axle.
Question, though. Do you really need steering stops? Depending on the steering box, the internal stops can be enough.Jack
