A lot depends on what sort of fuel pump he has. Can you give us more info? Is it an in tank fuel pump or in line? Where is the fuel pick up? Why does he think it will cause a problem?

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

The only problem is the fuel return, if you use a selector switch the return won't shift tanks without its own switch valve. Joining the tanks with a crossover line will solve the problem.

I do use a selector switch. What exactly do you mean by a "crossover" line? I'll have to get more details on the engine. He is on his way back to memphis right now.

Got in touch with him briefly and he said that it has an in tank pump, but he said that if I could get a ford frame mounted pump that it would work. Comments.........
