A crossover line connects the bottom of one tank with the bottom of the other. That way, you don't need a selector switch. The fuel always seeks the same level in both tanks. HOWEVER, bottom tank connections are discouraged these days - and outlawed in new cars - because damage to the connection or the tube drains the tanks.Jack

OK, that's what I thought it was. A crossover would be impossible for me anyways because my car is so low it would get caught on something the first time I drove it out.Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08
