    I was thinking about going with something lighter. I know that if you do the conversion from drum to disc brakes on these axles you loose around 100 pounds. I've just bought a set of aluminum H2 wheels for it because I think that they will be lighter then the steel wagon wheels that are on it now plus they are easier to take care of. The wagon wheels are painted and chipping and they look horrible.

    Later model 14 boltz have disc brakes......look at a late
    model Chev pu and see if they mount easily....
