thanks for the link denny, read the PDF for C63 and that is what came in my car, 3/4 inch diamater at the widest for the globe and 1/1/4" high, as long as I can follow this, I should be able to find a bulb to fit, which I think a 6v equivalent of an 1155 will work, they didn't list an 1155 so I don't know it's 6v equivalant, but the parts store shouldYou don't know what you've got til it's gone
