I would switch over but, it works fine the way it is, and I don't have the budget to convert it. the lights are actully bright. I'd also like to keep the generator and a new generator rebuilt for 12v is just over 100 bucks. plus 6v is somthing that is not seen very often, as long as I can get 6v stuff, I'll keep it.
