Actually that was my dads second plan if it wasnt good to mount it halfway. He doesn't really want to cut into the floor haha but ya you could do that one my dads we have looked.Originally posted by chevydrivin
The lazy mans way. Once I cut a piece of the trunk floor sheet metal making an inspection plate at the top of the tank. Replace the pump and then make a cover larger than the piece you cut out, seal it and screw it in place. Then if it goes out again just pull up your carpet and pop of the cover.
If yours can be done that away, you have to look at it to be sure, i can't picture the tank location. is there sheet metal directly above the tank?
Well we will just stick with mounting it on the frame rail.
