In my auto shop class, I was doing some brake work on a newer Jeep Cheroke Laredo, it was on a lift. The rear end looked pretty narrow so I took a look at it, I couldn't find a tape measure but I know it was like 53", I'll measure it if it is still there monday. It is a Dana rear end, I think it is like a Dana 30 or 44, not shure, factory disc brakes. not shure about gears. Probably lots of them in the yards.
dont know about the rear, but the front ones are like 71/2 "
