I need info on what is needed, or if it is possible, to change the motor in a '57 Chevy 210 from a 235 6cyl to a 283 v-8 (or any suggestions of alternate options) and what transmission should go with it. I am just looking to improve the power, not win 1st place in a car show. any input on web site with this info and a reputable supplier of said engine/trans would be appreciated. thanks for your time.
