They can be wierd in the mud, all right. A buddy had a monster truck with Detroit lockers both ends. You could not keep it on the road. As soon as the tires moved, the whole works slipped sideways downhill, straight to the ditch. We had to put it in 2wd and rev the hell out of it to even move where we wanted to go!
