Most sold as an OEM unit are the same. Each car company used to have their own name for a limited slip unit. Chrysler was Sure-Grip, I think Chevrolet used Posi-Traction, Studebaker used Twin-Traction, etc.Originally posted by junkyardjeff

There are different types of rear differentials that do different things such as spools, lockers, etc.---Tom
