that looks good. you're doing it the way it should be done. all i did was lower the trick 3 ". my motor is as low and as far forward as you can get it without hitting the front crossmember. i could have cut the crossmember and dropped the motor down another inch or so but i didn't need to, to shut the hood. i could have used the stock hood, but i wanted the cowl hood. everything fits under the hood ok until you get to the breather, if you look at my pic. in the gallery the breather i used was as high as i could go. some people use breather duct to get the breather over to the side and that helps a little. if you're not gonna use your ac, you could work on the firewall and ac-heater box a little and move the motor back 2" and you could do most anything you wanted to. keep the pic coming.Originally posted by rusttorods
lt1s10 what are the chances of an lt1 fitting under the stock hood and also being able to lay frame here is a link to my truck. clearance is my main concern not really wanting to cut hood or go with a cowl hood.
