There are advantages to not using a Ford rear end. If I had the money I would weld Ford ends on mine and stay with the 12 bolt. Regardless, I don't have one and can't afford to change to one now.

My question is aimed at preventing the leak before it occurs, not stopping it after it occurs. Not to be rude, but it seems you are not familiar with using Ford seals in the tube inboard of the tube end. Thanks anyway. When I find the answer I'll post it as it seems like a good solution for those of us that don't have a 9" or those that have Fords requiring c-clip eliminator kits.
