Did your old big block have the short motor mounts bolted to the engine??? If it did go to the longer mounts and it should give you another inch or so of clearance.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I bought the 76 in August , but haven't been able to work on it. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
