    Paul,

    It can be done...About 1960, Tommy Ivo put four (4) Pontiac V8s in a slingshot dragster...2 side-by-side engines behind 2 side-by-side engines. Top speed 200+ MPH.

    If you attempt this project, there are three things you'll need to buy:

    1) A good welder and lots of welding rods.
    2) Rods and steel plate.
    3) ....A GAS STATION...YOU'LL NEED ONE!!!...LOL
