My 40 Chevy does not have a title or VIN plate. I have tracked the last three owners who have modified the car in one way or another. I Have no idea why the VIN was removed but I'm certain it isn't stolen. The car is approx. 75% complete.
Has anyone else ever ran into this kind of problem with an old ride? I would expect "red flags" if a person had a newer vehicle without a VIN or title but this is a street rod project.
Do you know of any yards to find old wrecked chevys for sale with titles? I'm in NW Ohio.
