    I'm a little late on this one. A Ford 302 is an easy drop in with no shock tower mods. You can go to www.falconparts.com for the motor and tranny mounts. Hedman 88400 headers also will work great in the 62. You should upgrade the suspension. The 64-66 Mustang stuff is a direct bolt on and is much beefier than the old 6 cylinder stuff. The Mustang steering linkage will work too except for the cenet link - you'll need a 65 V8 Falcon unit. You can also add a Ford C4 easily. I saw an early Falcon with a 302 stroked to 347 with a Vortek blower. It was very nice.
