73 Monte Carlos had high back swivels.....dont know what year they stopped. Are you using the swivel feature? Most folks swivel them a few times and then stop.....unless you have a physical reason to need a swivel seat.

try a junk yard for the following vehicles. All four had them as an option:
1973-1977
Olds Cutlass
Chevy Chevelles and Monte Carlos
Pointiac Lemans
Buick Special/RegalDuane S

Almost forgot.....swivel seats were handy when you were
"parking" on a warm night and could open the door.

Type: "chrysler swivel buckets" in a search engine and you will come up with a whole bunch of links for parts.
The swivel buckets were available on quite a few top of the line Chryslers, saratoga's, Imperials, etc. in the 50's and early 60's"I don't know everything and i like it that way"
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
