I am looking at a pretty much stock motor. I will have true dual exhaust without cats. I don't think I will go with headers at this point. I will also have to figure out my air intake. I have a pretty good lead on an 01 Camaro motor and auto trans with just over 9k miles on it. My car is primarily a cruiser. I just want something different that has good performance. If I take it to the track at all, it will just be to a test and tune session to get a number to brag about At least that's the plan for now. I hope to have most of the pieces in place to start tearing things apart sometime after August this year. I hope to be able to have it running by spring or early summer '06.

Take a look at www.speartech.com. From everything I have seen and heard over at ls1tech.com they are very good with the ECUs and harnesses. They can either build them from scratch or modify the stockers, harnesses that is. As I get closer to the swap I will need to decide if I want to fly by wire, have the ECU control my fans and possibly the cruise control. I also am not sure at this point what to do about gauges. I have Dolphin aftermarket gauges now and I don't know if they can be adapted or not.

Thanks!

Pat
