I almost forgot....GM makes a computer already programmed for a street rod application. It is sold under part number 12480112 and sells for somewhere around $550......you might check it out vs. paying to have someone program yours......most of the edit programs require a license keyed to the vin in the ECU.....as I recall, the license is $150 for each ECU programmed.....and the guy doing the programming is going to pass that on to you. If i find more info on the 12480112, I will pass it on.....it may be the easiest/least expensive and it plugs into a stock harness.
