Converting a 2.8 to a 305 in a 87 camaro
I have a 87 camaro with MPFI and i want to put in a carburated 305, it has a T5 tranny in it. has anyone attempted this or know whats i may encounter?Git' r done

v6 and v8 cameros are very different cars. You're going to need to change a lot of stuff from the bell housing, radiator, motor mounts, maybe some suspension parts for the extra weight, etc... I would consider getting a front clip out of a v8 camero, drop in your v8, bolt up your transmission with a new bellhousing, and get an alignment. Why settle for a 305 when you could have a 350?

Gorgeous! That sucks you're having FI issues, but it seems there's always bugs to work out no matter how hard you try to make it perfect.
