ok big daddy on a 1990 chev. pick-up with a 350 there is only one oil pressure switch. thats the 3 prong one on the side of the block. 2 of the wires goes to the fuel pump and one to the gauge in the dash. so if you have a plug for the one on the side of the block thats all you need. i dont have a diagram yet but if you have the 3 prong plug thats all you need.

now i have a diagram but the print is so small i cant blow it up so you can see it, we'll try this.

only 1 oil pressure switch on the block.
3 wire plug goes to it.
    you should have a
    1-GRN wire
    1-TAN/WHT wire
    1- TAN wire
the GRN should be 12 volts.
the TAN/wht goes to the computer ,so dont hook them togother
the TAN wire goes to the oil pressure gauge in the dash

you dont need for the 2 fuel pump wires to be hooked up to make it run. the pump should be running off of the reg. relay or its been by-passed anyway.

find the TAN wire and plug it on the top post on the switch and see if it works, or ground out the tan wire and see if it makes the gauge move in the dash. if it does then you know you'er right.

if he cant find that tan wire he needs to run a wire from the oil pressure switch on the motor to the tan wire in the plug at the back of the instrument panel. the ground will take care of it self. it will use the same ground thats it useing now. thats what id do before i spent a lot more time looking.
