hi! i have a jaguar rear end out or a 1986 xj6 im looking to change the gear ratio down. the gears in there now are 2.88 gears. i found the new gears i want but i found this tech note for the dana 44Tech Note:

When replacing a 3.73 and numerically lower ratio gear set with a 3.92 or higher gear, the case must be changed to a 3.92 and higher case.
dose this apply to the jag rear end also? If so can i get arond this?
