The fuel guage I plan to use is a after market AutoMeter.

I believe the current range to be between 10 ohms full and 75 ohms empty using the stock sending unit on this 12 volt system.

What I am looking for is verification of the factory specifications for this unit. If my measurement are correct and the sending unit is operating correctly I should be able to use a early model Ford or Chrysler unit with a typical range of 10-73 ohms.
