1gary, the advantages of a roller cam, no break...
1gary, the advantages of a roller cam, no break in required, steeper ramp up and down profiles, less friction which equals less heat. I'm sure there may be more.

Thanks Glenn, it’s believed to be a Gen 5. 454. I’ll see if I can snap some pics of the stamped and cast numbers and post them here. Maybe we can define the year and model
