Yep 1,000 miles and it has been in storage for the good part of 15 years! No excuses, I know I have committed a crime, and it seems like I am now paying the price to the corvette gods.
Any advice? -

Any other ideas on the cause of the problem or is...
Any other ideas on the cause of the problem or is it just the valve seals? Here is some more info on the engine.
350 rebuilt in 1988 1000 miles
Burns oil (Fouls plugs)

71 corvette fouling plugs
I have a 1971 Corvette with a 350 that I had rebuilt in 1988, but it oly has 1,000 miles on it. I had it in storage all of these years. Anyway, when I got it out I gave it a tune up and drove it...
I just did a bunch of googling and it seems there is no hydraulic shock for the Explorer. You can buy some for classic cars.
