chop it, im no expert, but ive compared my 49 thats been mildly lowered to other stock 49's and it just doesn't have that low profile, sleek look.

We did end up finding part of the problem, we did not put O-rings on the distributor shaft which was sending oil up the shaft instead of sending it to the lifters, adding O-rings quieted it down but...
