Jerry thats all I needed was another choice LOL . But I have wondered what modern overdrive would work with this engine . I have a lot of reading to do yet .

I heard this trans may not be as good as it sounds with the switch pitch . I was told to get a TH350 and it would be better .
They say this trans slips into the second stall speed while driving... -

1965 SP400 Turbo slip yoke
I have a 65 Sp400 I heard take a special yoke . I counted the splines and it was 32 on the output shaft . This trans is one of a few that will bolt to the Nailhead I just picked up .

Yeah if we have to go changing lifters I am taking those comp cam lifters out.
